On Sunday, I’d like to have AI create a script for announcements announcement with upcoming events and news for our business. Then have AI do a voice recording of the announcement. Then at scheduled times through the week, the announcement plays over our Sonos system. At our disposal for use we have iPads, Mac computers, Amazon Alexa, google workforce along with google calendar and google drive, Apple Music and Amazon music. I’m willing to buy subscription to service to help facilitate this.

Welcome to the Community, @Rogue Parkour! 😁🎉

That’s such a clever workflow idea! I’m not sure where the initial details for the announcements that would need to be scripted are stored, but you could use an app like ChatGPT to generate an announcement script using it’s Send Prompt action. It’s also got a Convert Text to Speech action that could convert the text into a voice recording. And the Zap could then store the audio file in a specific folder on Google Drive. That said, you might want to overwrite the previous audio file with the new one or move it to a different folder once the event has past so that the only file in the folder is the announcement that should be played next.

Zapier doesn’t integrate with Apple Music or Amazon Music currently, so the tricky part would be getting the voice recording to play on your Sonos system. 🤔 It looks like Sonos can play over AirPlay. So maybe you could set up a Shortcut on the iPad that would run at the necessary scheduled times and play the audio file that was added to the over AirPlay.

Do you think that sort of approach could work?
