Retrieve and Post Messages containing certain words

Hey guys, I am new to zapier and I’ve been trying to setup for slack a way to retrieve a message containing a certain channel mention and post that same message into a new channel, I’ve done a simple setup that consists in:

1 - Action - New Mention in Slack

    - Highlight word: #Channel_I_Want

2 - Find a message in Slack

    - Search Query: #Channel_I_Want

3 - Send Channel Message in Slack

    - Message Text: Item - Text

As far as I got this works and gets the message and posts it in the new channel but the last message that it retrieves only gets posted in the channel once a new one containing the mention is sent.

Any idea what the problem might be?

To help us have more context, post screenshots with how the Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode, along with a specific example.

To help us have more context, post screenshots with how the Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode, along with a specific example.

I’ve figured what I was doing wrong…
I was trying to retrieve the information directly from the “Find Message” query and that was causing it to only send the messages once a new one was sent.
After getting the information from the “Mention in slack” action I was able to set the trigger to send the message correctly.
