Redtail and Calendly - reschedule appt and contact creation

For Calendly to Redtail, how do I:

  1. Cancelled or rescheduled appointments
  2. Creating a contact ONLY if it doesn’t already exist in their Redtail CRM?  

I have successfully created a zap for adding appointments to my Redtail calender and adding contact details to redtail, but i want to refine the process as mentioned above.

Good question.

Unfortunately, the Redtail Zap app doesn’t have an action for Find Contact.

Hey @GJ Retire! Troy is correct that Redtail has not yet added a “Find Contact” action to their Zapier integration, which is going to be necessary for you to build the workflow you’ve outlined. It actually doesn’t yet look possible (according to their API documentation) to search for a contact by email address: https://help.redtailtechnology.com/hc/en-us/articles/203964620-Contacts-Search-contacts-search-

I’ve gone ahead and added your vote for this to move it up in the priority list. We’ll both email you and update this thread if/when it becomes available as well as with any updates we may have in the meantime. Sorry we don’t have a solution to offer in the interim but I’m keeping my fingers crossed this gets added for you soon! 🤞
