Hey guys,

This might be off topic but does anyone know the D365 process for handling First article inspection? I needed it for informing users when a product is finalized and arriving.

Thanks

Hey @Sara_Nasreen!

It doesn’t look like the current Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration has any triggers related to handling First Article Inspections specifically. As a workaround, are you able to an any email notifications sent to you when a product is finalized and arrives? If that is possible and those emails contain the required information you need from Microsoft Dynamics 365 then you could potentially use that to trigger a Zap that kicks off a workflow to inform your users.

You can find out more about how to trigger Zaps from emails here: Trigger Zaps from new parsed emails

Does that help to get you pointed in the right direction? :)

Yeah, that definitely looks like a great place to start, thank you so much!

You’re most welcome, @Sara_Nasreen!

Please do report back here to let us know how you get on with this. :)

Hey so after a lot of tears and probably not enough coffee, I found this place that looks like it might help! https://dynamics.folio3.com/dynamics-365-implementation/

Thanks for letting us know, @Sara_Nasreen! :)

I’m so pleased to hear you were able to find something useful on this, and hope you’ve been able to get more coffee since!
