My Trigger app is Jotform. The user of the Jotform will enter their name and date of birth. I need the zap to them go search for the users name on a Google Sheet (column A) and determine if the date of birth the user entered exactly matches the date of birth on the Sheet (column B).

You should be able to do this using a filter. Have you tried adding a filter step with this condition after the zap triggers?
