Question

Microsoft To Do task us updated when change is made in Salesforce. How can I do this?

I am trying to set this up so that when a task is updated in Salesforce, it gets updated in Microsoft To Do as well. For now I would like to start with just completing the task in Microsoft To Do if it is updated in Salesforce and vice-versa.

Hi @mhernandez,

Welcome to the Community.

To integrate Salesforce tasks with Microsoft To Do using Zapier, create a Zap with Salesforce as the trigger “Updated Record” and Microsoft To Do as the action “Complete Task”. Connect both accounts, map the relevant task fields, test the Zap for an accurate two-way sync, and set up a reverse Zap to mark completed tasks in Microsoft To Do as completed in Salesforce.

I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Hey @mhernandez, just checking in—were you able to get this sorted?

Wanted to also add to Jammer’s suggestion, that you’ll want to be careful not to create a Zap loop if you’re looking to do a two-way sync between Salesforce and Microsoft To Do. You can learn more about to prevent an accidental Zap Loop here: How to avoid a Zap loop
