Hi @Joshy boy,

Good question. Yes, this is doable.

ServiceM8 is available as an integration on Zapier, and there are multiple third-party PDF tools that can handle the merge and conversion. Here's how the workflow would break down:

  1. Trigger: Use a ServiceM8 trigger (like a completed job or form event) to kick off the Zap each time a form is finished.
  2. Store the PDF: Save each completed PDF to a cloud storage folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) so the files accumulate in one place.
  3. Merge + convert: When you're ready to compile, use a PDF tool like PDF.co or ConvertAPI PDF Tools to merge the PDFs into one file and convert to Word (.docx).

A few things to keep in mind:

  • The merge step could be triggered manually, on a schedule, or by another event, depending on when you want the compiled document.
  • PDF-to-Word conversion works well for text-heavy forms, but complex layouts or images may shift slightly. That's a universal limitation of the conversion, not specific to Zapier.
  • PDF.co and similar tools require their own account and API key alongside your Zapier account.

Helpful links:

Since this involves a multi-step workflow with some design decisions (when to trigger the merge, where to store the files, which PDF tool fits best), I'd recommend reaching out to Zapier Support through the contact form. They can help you build out the specific steps for your setup.

Hope this helps!
