May I ask if the Zapier zap support the extraction of Gmail PDF attachment through Chatgpt4.0?

I am using Gmail workspace, Chat GPT4.0, and Zapier starter user.

Extract the “unstructure text” with chat gpt with no problem.

However, if I set the below:-

  1. Unstructure text, “1. Attachment: (Exists but not shown) (selected from gmail)
  2. write the Description (as prompt),
    “You  extract the following information from the PDF file, and format it as a JSON object:

The return are some wrong message not in the PDF.

May I ask if the Zapier zap support the extraction of Gmail PDF attachment through Chatgpt4.0?

Good question.

You may first have to use another Zap app that can extract data from the PDF before sending that data to ChatGPT.

e.g. PDF.co: https://zapier.com/apps/pdfco/integrations#triggers-and-actions

I add a step before ChatGPT, in order to get the text file from PDF, before transfer text data to ChatGPT
There are still problem to get text file from PDF. My procedures are:-
 

  1. Add  1 step “PDF to Anything Converter” in PDF.co before ChatGPT.
    1. In the step “PDF to Anything Converter in PDF”
      2.1 Account: PDF.co selected. OK
      2.2 Action: 
      2.2.1 Output format (required)
                Plain text with layout, supports scanned PDFs
    2. 2.2 Source PDF URL (Required)
           Select Gmail
           Message URL: http//mail.go…..
      2.2.3 Page selection(Optional) - empty.
      2.2.4 Output file name (Optioned - empty

      The result is error.

      I suspect that I cannot find the URL of attachment, it may not be Message URL: 
      Do you know what is the right one to the Attachment address?
