I have a Zap that imports data from an email with Email Parsing, creates a Person in Pipeline CRM and then creates a Deal. However, I want to add a step in the Zap to link the Deal with the Person just created. Is this possible? I have been trying to use the Pipeline CRM task of Update Person or Update Deal but cannot make it.

A Deal is automatically linked to a Person in Pipeline CRM when created. To set this up in your Zap, use an Email Parsing trigger to create the Person. Then, in the 'Create Deal' action, specify the Person by selecting 'Use a Custom Value' and mapping the Person ID from the 'Create Person' step. This ensures the Deal is correctly associated with the Person.
