Hi there,

 

My company wants me to use Zapier to record questions that follow the initial optin page to Google Sheets.

 

There are multiple steps:

 

1 Optin: button click opens popup that presents the user with an optin form.  the user submits the form with the submit on the popup and is redirected to next step.

 

2 Next step: a series of custom_type form fields are presented with a button at the bottom. click the moves to next step.

 

3 next step: another page with custom_type form fields and a Submit form button at the bottom.

 

as of now… ClickFunnels records the contact and will send the contact to Zapier on the optin step. 

 

But, I am having a hard time with the two pages of qualifying questions that follow the initial optin step.  I need to record to the answers to Google sheets before forwarding the user to a thank you page and I am a bit lost.

any assistance would be appreciated.

I think for each of the different forms (aka steps in the ClickFunnel) you need to string along the previous steps input data to the next step, using CF redirects and hidden fields.

Or you can try passing along one unique data points (e.g. email) to use in Zaps as such:

Action: GSheets Find Row

Action: GSheets Update Row

 

I suggest doing some GSearches on the topic as well.
