Issue with Mapping Givebutter Campaign Fields to Kajabi via Zapier
Hi Zapier Community,
I'm currently working on a Zap to connect Givebutter contacts to Kajabi contacts. However, I'm facing an issue with field selection for the submission form in Kajabi from Givebutter. Specifically, the new Givebutter campaign doesn't seem to include key information like the name and email of the donor, which are essential for creating contacts in Kajabi via Zapier.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or found a workaround to ensure these fields are properly mapped? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
thank you so much for sharing that link! I’ve gone through the link and tried to create filters using it, but I’m having a bit of trouble. I don’t see a filter option in my mapping. Could you please elaborate on how it could be done? I would really appreciate any additional guidance or steps you could provide to help me out with this.
If it would be possible to create a video for better understanding!
Thanks a lot!

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap Filter step is configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.
Filter conditions:
>First Name] (exists)
OR
>Last Name] (exists)
Here it is, Let me know if this is right !

@leahwagner
The screenshot of the Filter conditions you provided is not correct.
Hey Troy, I gave it a shot with the first name filter as well, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working since the test keeps failing. Could you please assist me with the steps, if that's possible? Thanks so much for your help!
@leahwagner
Make sure to check the warning message.
Previously suggested Filter conditions:
>First Name] (exists)
OR
>Last Name] (exists)
I carefully followed all the steps provided, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to show the "continue" option as expected. Could you please take a moment to check if everything is set up correctly? It would be really helpful to ensure that all the steps have been properly followed and that nothing has been overlooked. Thank you!
@leahwagner
Previously suggested Filter conditions:
OR
Your screenshots shows these Filter conditions:
>First Name] contains iFirst Name]
AND
>Last Name] contains iLast Name]
Ok So please confirm if these, filters are correct!
Now that it has successfully passed through the test, could you please verify if the applied rule is indeed correct? Specifically, we need to ensure that whenever any donations come in through Givebutter, it should trigger a contact creation in Kajabi.
@leahwagner
Not sure how I can make the feedback clearer.
The screenshot shows a Filter step that is still incorrect.
Once again, this is the suggested Filter step conditions:
OR
Can you check now please as I followed the last instructions you shared.
@leahwagner
You keep posting the same screenshot, which is not what was suggested.
The screenshot shows a Filter step that still has incorrect conditions configured.
Use these Filter step conditions:
eFirst Name] (exists)
OR
pLast Name] (exists)
I understand what you're saying, but could you clarify it a bit more? It seems like in the filter, it displays the same thing, and there doesn't appear to be any error showing up.
@leahwagner
Filter step conditions are pretty basic.
Use these Filter step conditions:
OR
I see that you've made an attempt, but it seems that the error is still persisting. Could you please take a moment to check it again?
@leahwagner
Filter conditions are configured correctly.
The yellow warning is merely a warning that the Zap would not have continued because the Filter conditions were not met for the example record data.
If you scroll down it will indicate why the Filter step conditions were not met.
In this case, neither the First Name or Last Name from Givebutter exist for the example record selected in Zap step 1.
When in doubt, turn it ON, and test it out live.
Then check your Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you trace the data flow and troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/
