Is there any action that combines Approval and Path?

IMPORTANT

Approval by Zapier will be discontinued on February 28, 2023. If you’re using Approval by Zapier, you can still create approval steps in your Zaps using Zapier Tables and Zapier Interfaces. Request access to both apps through our Early Access Program.

Hello.

Is there any good way that combines Approval and Path?

In every response, I would like to decide manually and send it to path1 if it is condition A or path2 if it is condition B.

When it comes to Approval app, it has only approval or deny.

When it comes to Path app, there is no opportunity for me to review the condition in the middle.

If anyone has any idea, plz

Hi @Woody!

It sounds like you want the Paths to have rules that allow for both the different conditions and  the approval, is that right?

If so, you can add more than one condition to paths by clicking on the ‘AND’ or ‘OR’ button (depending on the logic that you need)

Would adding a condition to the Path do what you need? If not, could you perhaps explain what you need in a bit more detail? Thanks!

Thank you @Danvers

Excuse my poor English.

For example, the trigger is New Email in Gmail.

If I get an email, the zap delays until I approve.

I check the picture in the mail if it is a cat picture or a dog picture.

I cannot use Path app because the app cannot distinguish the picture.

If it is an cat picture, I push Thumb up and action A runs.

If it is an doc picture, I push Thumb down and action B runs.

The app I want is this.

Hi @Woody!

Thanks for your helpful diagram!

You can use the Approval app to do this, what you need to do is set it so that when you click the down thumb, the Zap will continue.

You can then create filter in  the Path based on the Status field:

Would that work the way that you need it to?

Wow..

That is exactly what I needed.

Finally I have grasped what the Approval app is.

Thank you so much Danvers.
