I’m trying to have outbound messages from email, sms, slack, or some other communication service trigger an action with stores the outbound message to Airtable or Google Sheets?
I currently only see the option for inbound messages to trigger an action.

Hey
For sending outbound messages your trigger needs to be New email matching search, and then you can specify that you only want emails that you send.
For Slack, you can have the trigger watch all messages posted to any channel, and then set up a filter step which only lets your messages through to the rest of the zap. That way you can track only your posts sent via slack.
