Question

Is it possible to have comments in an Asana task sent to a slack message thread?

I have a task in Asana where a lot of co-workers add comments, I have created a really basic Zap to get new tasks in Asana mentioned in a specific Slack channel for everyone to know.

Is there a way to create a Zap and get all the new comments in that task sent to the original message in Slack (example: New Task Created - Follow Ups) as a thread?

That way all the comments in Asana are shown as a thread in the Slack original message about a new Task being created.

Hi @Chava Molina

Zap action: Slack - Send Channel Message

Configure the field: Thread

Hey @Troy Tessalone but how can I automate it to look for the task?

Every day, a new task is going to be created, creating a new Slack message.

Comments on that new task need to find their way to this first slack message about the new task being created.
