Hi Sam!

I’m a client using Trainerize, and after chatting with my club, I found out I can’t get my permissions set to Owner (fair enough!). Just wondering if there’s any workaround for clients to link workouts directly to Strava or Garmin Connect?

Thanks for the help — looking forward to any suggestions you might have!

Hi @grthompson, welcome to the Community! 🎉

Hope you don’t mind but we’ve moved your question into a brand new topic to better surface it to the Community.

I’ve double-checked and the Trainerize account would still need to be an Owner.

The only workaround I can think of would be if you received email notifications from Trainerize that contained the necessary information you want to sent over to Strava/Garmin. In which case you could set up an automatic email forwarding rule in your email account to forward those email notifications over to an app like Email Parser by Zapier which would extract the information from the email, then you’d have an action like the Create Activity (Strava) one to log the workout in Strava. If you’d like to explore that you can find out more about using Email Parser here: Trigger Zaps from new parsed emails

Hope that helps to get you pointed in the right direction. If you run into any issues on that or have further questions do let us know! 🙂
