Hello,

I am trying to set up a zap that would, when I get an email with a wetransfer link (from a specific email address), Zapier would automatically upload the files from the link to Google Drive.

Any help appreciated :)

Hi @GreenKey

Good question.

What happens when the WeTransfer link is clicked?

It would need to go to a direct download of the file in order to be used in Zaps.

Oh, ok. I will try to figure out how to make that happen. Right now it just takes you to a page where you have to click the download link yourself.

Is there a way to modify the URL that the formatter extracts? For example, if the URL extracted from the email is wetransfer.com/(string of numbers), can the output be wetransfer.com/(string of numbers)/download? Where the same thing would be added to the URL every time?

Thank you so much for the reply!

@GreenKey

If you know what the direct download URL link structure should be, then you can try to set that as the File URL to upload to GDrive.

OR you can use a Webhook - Custom Request (GET) to hydrate a file.
