I have some questions. Is it possible to automate in Asana using two different account boards? For example, I have two accounts in Asana with different organizations under one email/login. Is it possible to automate a task to be transferred to a different board with a different account?

@markhui

You would need to map the data points between Zap steps.

Hi @markhui

Yes you should provided you have the proper Asana permissions for those.

Sometimes the only way to know for sure is to try and configure the Zap steps.

Apps can be connected to Zapier here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

Thanks, @Troy Tessalone

I tried to create but I am having a challenge in creating the action as duplicating the task would be only duplicated in the same board/account.

Hi @markhui

For us to have more context, please post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured, thanks.

@Troy Tessalone I realize it was not the right formula. It will only duplicate the task. What I need is to duplicate the task in another account and board

@markhui

Not sure you will be able to “duplicate”, but you could create a new task in the other Asana Workspace/Project with the info from the original Asana Task.

Thanks, @Troy Tessalone. I’m on it. Now I don’t know how the “info from the original Asana Task” can be copy/transferred.
