Instagram for Business Issue - The media could not be sent to Instagram for Business.


Hello, thank you for opening the page.

I'm not good at English, so I'd be grateful if you could help me.

 

I want to post a photo on Instagram.

So I made Instagram a professional account.

It is also connected to the Facebook page.

However, I got an error on Zapier.

 

nThe media could not be sent to Instagram for Business.

Could not upload media file: (#10) The user is not an Instagram Business.]

 

If anyone knows the solution, please let me know.

If there is any missing information, I will add it, so please point it out.

Hi @quolofune 

I’m getting an error when using the Publish Photos action

There are 3 requirements for Publish Photos to work properly:

  • You must have a Business Instagram Account. This will not work for a Creator account.
  • The connected Facebook user must also have the Editor" or "Admin" page roles in order to Publish Media.
  • If you do have a Business Instagram Account and your connected user is an Editor or Admin on the Facebook page, make sure that you have provided Zapier with the proper permissions.

I confirmed the following.

  • I have confirmed that my Instagram account is a business account.
  • I’m a Facebook page administrator and my Instagram account and Facebook page work together.

 

I don't know the following.

  • Zapier with the proper permissions

 

I linked my account from instagram for business.

 

At that time, I checked my Instagram business account.

 

Next, I checked the Facebook page to which the Instagram business account is linked.

 

Allowed zapier to have all the permissions shown on the last page.

 

However, when I click "test & continue", I get an error.

 

Please point out if there is a problem with the operation.

I thought it was a business account, but it was a creator account.
