Quickbooks Online invoice to Google Calendar Entry. How do I enter a delivery time?

We are professional balloon decorators that use Quickbooks online for our accounting. We’d like to use Zapier to automatically create a google calendar event based on our invoices. We’ve got it mostly working. We send the client the invoice and we get a custom calendar event with all the information about that gig. Here’s the rub. QBO doesn’t actually have a “Time of delivery” field, much less a “Window of time for delivery” field. Is it possible to steal another field or two (“tracking number” and “shipping via” perhaps?) and write “9:00am to 4:00pm” as the delivery window? What is the specific way to write the times so that Google Calendar recognizes it and creates the event at the right time?Thanks so much for your help.

Mirror Monday.com column updates to Airtable

I need an easier way to push information from Monday.com to Airtable.  Currently it can be done but setting it up is a bit labor intensive.  My current method is as follows:Column change in Monday sends a webhook to Zapier Zapier initiates a path by Zapier action There is a path setup for each Monday column e.g.  Path A:   Event Column ID | Exactly matches | text9 The path maps to the appropriate Airtable columnThis only appears to be necessary for text columns as they all send data in the event_value_value variable (other column types use other variable names e.g. event_value_address I can use to map to the Airtable columns).  The path method works fine, it’s just a fair amount of work to set it up. I am presuming the paths by zapier if the equivalent of an ‘if’ statement.  What I’m wondering is can I use ‘code by zapier’ or some other method to more quickly deploy this for new Monday board?

Airtable Linked to Zapier Digest

I have a zapier set up so that rows added to a specific view roll up into a digest.  I would like to have weekly zapier rollups created using the information in this view but ONLY for items which are currently in the view – NOT for items which may have passed into and then out of the airtable view sometime over the course of the week.  Does anybody know if this is possible?   Right now, as I understand, the Digest function will add anything that showed up in that view regardless of whether it is still in that view.

Hi Can anyone please give me any idea how to manage Projects and payments better with Xero or other software. We use Recurly to bill our customers, and Xero to manage supplier invoices (and accounting). We would like to automatically find out which supplier invoices are payable based on whether the customer has paid us.So for example, Customer A hires us to manage a project, we hire Supplier B.When Customer A pays (via Recurly) we are told or flagged that Supplier Bs invoice can now be paid. Thanks and look forward to any suggestions you may haveKind regardsJamie

Update Shopify Product data & inventory data

I was wanting to integrate inventory & product data between multiple ecommerce stores.  So update inventory, not just when an order is placed in one store, but if the stock is updated for any reason.  For example, orders, returns, exchanges or new inventory being checked in.  Basically anytime inventory is updated in the hub shopify store I want to trigger inventory updates in the child stores.  The child stores could be Shopify or BigCommerce or another platform.  Is this possible? Also I’d like to trigger an update if the price changes or proudct images are updated in the base store.  Can you help with this?

Choose Value - Perspective

Hi-I need your help for a (maybe) simple issue. I create my first Zapp: New Lead via Funnel in Perspective. “Choose App” and “Create an account” was easy. But in the field “Costumize Lead” the required field “Choose Value” does not work. There ist no Value founded. What do I have to do in that case? I thought this “Value” is the Name of my Perspektive-funnel, but as I said-no value is founded.Thanks for your help!Christine

Airtable to Quickbooks Receipt - Payment Method not Importing

I’ve successfully created a Zap to Create a Receipt in QB from a New Record in Airtable, but I can’t figure out how to populate the “Payment Method” in QB (several options such as Cash, Check, Billpay, etc.) even though I have the identical information in a field in Airtable.  When I select the field in AT to populate the field in the new QB record, it doesn’t recognize it and leaves the “Payment Method” blank.  I’m wondering if I have to use the “Payment Method Codes” that are in QB instead of the “text” coming from Airtable.  Any suggestions? Thanks,Dave UPDATE - SOLVED:  Probably not the ideal solution, but as a workaround, I created a formula field in Airtable to change the “Method of Payment” (text) in AT to the corresponding (Payment Method” code (numeric) in QB.  I then matched that new code field to the “Payment Method” field in the QB action in the ZAP and that worked.

How to create a PDF based on responses to an Airtable form

Hi everyone, I'm trying to create a PDF generation automation. I have a number of PDF "concept notes" each of them tied to a particular option I'd like to list in an Airtable form (though open to other form solutions). I would like users to be able to use a multi-select option in the form to select which concept note they would like to be emailed, and have the automation merge all the options they selected into a single PDF, then email that to the user. I'm not sure how to design the automation to search for the docs (in a Google Drive) based on the form responses. How would you go about setting up such an automation? Any feedback or ideas welcome! Thank you:)

I’ve seen several answers to how to split fields, but I need to join two fields. First Name and Last Name.I want the field data to have a space between the values. Right now in testing I’m getting JaneDoe instead of Jane Doe. Is there a way to add a space between these fields? Thanks!

Paths not running

I’m trying to create a zap with 3 paths. Based on the data that I have captured from wufoo forms and tested, some of the paths should have run, but when I actually trigger the form through a wufoo form input it repeatedly tells me that 0 paths have run. Very frustrating!

Hi all,I’m trying to create a Zap for Pipedrive based on Kartra Activity.I want to update my Pipedrive deal and move it to another stage within pipedrive once a tag is placed upon a lead within my Kartra List. My Trigger is  1. Lead Is Assigned Tag in Kartra2. Find Person in Pipedrive3. Update Deal in Pipedrive I am unable in the “Update Deal” section find and dynamically insert the deal that I require to update. Any advice or a solution would be great

Pull Unused Name from Google Sheet

I want to build a round robin type of zap but for hundreds of people which is why I’m hesitant to use the Storage function. Ideally, I would be able to post a trigger word into a designated Slack channel and the zap would pull a random name from a spreadsheet that hasn’t been used yet. I would be able to post the trigger word multiple times if need be, i case the person sent back was out or otherwise too busy. Below is a sample of the spreadsheet I have set up. I want the zap to only send back a name if their ‘Spotlight Date’ cell is empty.

Wix Automation + Klaviyo New Subscriber

Hi there! I’m having trouble connecting a Wix Automation (linking new subscribers to a newsletter form) to a Klaviyo New Subscriber command:  I’m receiving the following error when customizing the new subscriber info for Klaviyo, which seems to be connected with the contact email from Wix not working for some reason.    Not sure if this is something that can be fixed in Zapier or on Wix’s backend.  Any help on this would be so greatly appreciated !!!

Refresh data from Microsoft To-Do

I’m using MSFT To-Do to power a few Zaps right now, working great. One need I have is the ability to refresh the data from a specific ToDo after a period of time. The workflow is roughly: Get Task from To-Do [success] Delay 10m [success] REFRESH the to-do [no clue] Do more stuff [success] I’ve figured out everything other than the “refresh this data” part. Any pointers would be lovely.

Microsoft To-Do trigger request: Changed Task

Hi, I have migrated from formerly Wunderlist to Microsoft-To-Do. One feature I am missing with Microsoft is Google Calendar integration. Wunderlist offered a shared calendar subscription for that. I have successfully activated the predefined Zap “Microsoft-To-Do  New task” → “Google Calendar Create event” with an additional filter for due dates and reminder date since I only want to sync in case a due date or reminder is set. But often I set a due date or reminder date in To-Do on existing tasks. Then the “Microsoft To-Do New Task” trigger won’t fire. Is there a way to trigger on “Task Change”? I would definitely opt for a To-Do task change trigger.   Regards, Stefan
