How to populate rows in Google Sheet with the same value without using code?
Hi everyone,I’m receiving data that is in line item format, and one is just a single value not in line item format, when I write these line-items to google sheets I want each row to contain the value from the single value, not just the first row. How do I do this? And no I do not know how many line items there will be, sometimes one, sometimes 50.Thanks!
Is there a way to merge paths back together?
Does anyone know how (or if it is possible) to rejoin paths? For example, a person signs up on one platform (a survey, a webinar, a whatever) and I want to add them to a CRM but I first have to check whether they are in the CRM or not. If they aren't they have to be added (and possibly have some initial tags added that someone already in the CRM would already have) so I split the path in two. But after that I want execute the same functions because I want to record something in the CRM about the actions they have taken. From what I can see I have to duplicate the steps on each path but maybe I am missing something.Maybe it is possible to simply call another Zap from the first one and have the extra functions in that second Zap or simply trigger that second Zap by adding the data from both paths to a Google Sheet and running from there.Any suggestions on how to make this supper simple are appreciated :-)Many thanks in advance.Paul
How Do I Instantly Send Google Sheets Data to Discord?
Hi, I've gotten a connection between Sheets & my Discord server working and the setting is set to instantly send data from a new row created in the Sheet to the server. When I test the connection I immediately get the test message sent to the server, but when I actually input the data in the new row in the sheet it takes 2-3 minutes before the data gets sent to Discord. Is this something that I can't change or is there a way to make the transmission immediate just like the tests are?
Can I use Zapier make a login call, receive token, then use that token in a Webhook to POST?
I am working with a new vendor that doesn't have many connections. They have an API and said first I need to make a login call then encrypt the token to make further calls. I need to do a simple pass from an Unbounce form (4-5 fields) into this vendor. I've used Webhooks in the past but normally I pass my credentials in the query string. This is the first time I've needed to do multiple calls into an API.Is there someone here who might be able to help? Or, a blog post you could point me to?Thanks in advance.
Row not found - Zap Halted notification
I have action steps in some zaps that lookup Rows in google sheets. If the row is not found, the zap is halted. This happens fairly often (it is expected) and I keep getting "Halted notification" emails, which I then have to open to see which Zap halted.I could turn Halt notifications off altogether (it is an account-wide setting), but for some other zaps it is important for me to be notified if they are halted.I could also choose the option "if row not found -> add row", but in this case it is not appropriate.Usually I would put a filter, but in this case the filter would come AFTER the action, so the halted notification is already triggered.Does anybody have a workaround so that "If row not found", it doesn't trigger a halted notification?
Generating a timestamp
Often I have integrations that don't pass on a timestamp but where it is desirable to have on passed through to the next action. I've tried several things using formatter. Nothing worked properly.Does anyone have a quick and easy way to achieve this? Many thanks in advanceP
Clockify's "New Timer Start" and "New Time Entry" triggers have the same behavior
As far as I understand...."New Timer Start" should trigger immediately when Clockify initiates a start timer"New Time Entry" should trigger ONLY when a complete time entry (that is, a timer that has started and ended) is initiated.Currently, "New Time Entry" seems to exhibit the same behavior as "New Timer Start" - shouldn't it only trigger when Clockify's EndTime field is not null?Been spending too much time trying to get this right : I want Zaps to trigger Clockify when TIMER ENDS, so that it will add to my Google Calendar w/ an END TIME so that when Zapier adds to my calendar, it will include BOTH "Start" and "End" time in a Detailed Event. What am I doing wrong? At the moment, this is how I have my zap setupwhen New Timer Started in ClockifyCreate Detailed Event in Google CalendarHowever, when a new Timer Starts, there's technically no End Time. I would prefer my Google Calendar to track my time accurately by

I'm noticing a lot of dead end help links in the zap editor
Since the new help centre went live, I'm noticing a lot of the in-editor help links lead to dead ends now.For example:That link used to take you right to the 'Numbers' section on the Formatter help page, but now it just takes you to start of the guide. The REALLY annoying one is this one:It used to lead to a really helpful cheat sheet of how to construct different date formats, but now it's lost somewhere 😕
Removing 'Flood Protection' from a specific zap.
As I write this, I'm 99.99% certain the answer is no, but just for fun, I'll ask it anyways. I've built a set of zaps for a client, to allow them to run a variable number of checklists in Process Street, based on the variable number of stores they manage (roughly 1100). The first zap runs based on a schedule, grabs the variable number of stores from a Google Sheet as a single concatenated value, pastes them into another sheet as individuals rows, which triggers the second zap. Because of this, roughly 1100 rows are created each time this runs (once a month). The second zap is then triggered by the new row created, which then takes the data, confirms it via a lookup back to the Google Sheet, and then runs a checklist in Process Street. This is a way to essentially do a loop, on a schedule, for a variable amount of entries containing variable data, using a zap. I'm gonna be making some content around this later. However, the sort of minor issue is that the sheer numbe
Building a workflow with multiple "if" conditions that can run concurrently
Originally asked by @IgniteMarketing:There are multiple “ifs” possibilities, where we’ll want to do additional actions depending on data received on a form. What’s the best way to set it up? A simple filter would cause it to end too early if a certain if fails but I need to do another.Paths are a potential option, but can multiple paths trigger at once?
Use variables to control colour in a document
Hello! I'm trying to think of a way to make a PDF that will have tables colour-coded to the results of variables I'll be passing through (pass/fail red and green, basically). At the moment my best idea is to create a HTML template with CSS controlling the colours, pass the colour-states in through Zapier and then PDF-print (Google Cloud print or similar) the resulting file.I'm not sure how to achieve this, however. Has anyone either got a way for me to import and format the HTML, or a better way to do this? Thanks in advance!

How can I create a Zap/workflow that only runs during business hours?
Sometimes you'll need your Zap(s) to detect if something has triggered after hours, and if so to add on a delay until business hours again. So, for example, if someone submits a form at 8pm, wait until 8am the next day. The Tricky Part is that the Zap can trigger the day before (e.g. 8pm) or it can be the same day that you want to send, but not business hours yet (e.g. 3am). So how do you set the delay?I'd love to explore some of the available options both with and without utilizing Paths.
How can I get a Slack message every morning showing all of my meetings for the day?
Each day I have different meetings and I'd like to be able to see all of them at the start of the day, without needing to go to Google Calendar. I'm always in Slack, so I think that it would be handy to have a Slack message sent every morning at 8am with all of my meetings for the day in it. What would be the best way to do that with Zapier?
Triggering from Rescheduled appointments in Calendly?
I'd like to trigger my Zap when someone reschedules an appointment in Calendly, but the only triggers are Invitee created and invitee cancelled. Is there a way to set up a Zap based on if someone reschedules (eg cancels and then adds a new appointment)?
