Importing eBay Purchases into Xero and FileMaker Pro

Just wondering if importing our daily eBay Purchases into Xero and FileMaker Pro is possible with Zapier?

We BUY many items on eBay and this would be useful.

Utilities and suchlike for importing ebay sales are common…..not for purchases.

Anyone with experience or advice that would be great!

Many thanks

Hi @Andyiszappedout

Good question.

You can search the list of available public Zap apps here: https://zapier.com/apps

Each Zap app has a profile page that lists the available triggers/actions.

Example with Xero: https://zapier.com/apps/xero/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Hey there, @Andyiszappedout (👈🏽🥺) Thanks for reaching!

I’m sad to say I don’t know this will be achievable through traditional triggers/actions.

For starters it looks like FileMaker isn’t a supported app at the moment. 😔 I did add your vote for it to our internal app wishlist though! We'll be sure to let you know if and when this app is added to Zapier. In the meantime, if you're curious, here's a bit more on how new services typically get added to Zapier.

In addition, as Troy shared we do have eBay and Xero integrations but there isn’t an eBay trigger for new orders as a buyer (as opposed to someone completing a purchase from your store which we do have). There is an open feature request for this as well that I added your vote to and we’ll email you if that changes.

Sorry to not have better news but we appreciate ya asking here in community!

Hi thanks for replying.   eBay seem to have APIs for selling not purchasing hence why maybe.

Looks like a VA job then

Thanks again-

The import of eBay purchases into Xero by non-traditional triggers would be fine as well...or even to a spreadsheet then....then we import that data.…

If some custom work needs doing we are happy to pay someone to do that…

Thanks 😊

Hey @Andyiszappedout totally understand! I would definitely encourage going the VA route to explore this or better yet, working with one of our Certified Zapier Experts. You can check them out and find one that meets your needs in our official directory, here: https://zapier.com/experts
