How would one add DNS records in order to create a subdomain?

The titl asks it all.

I am in namecheap right now and I do not think that will be possible.
I have heard it can be done in Cloudflare.

Anyone know how this can be done?

Thank you.

Hi @GusDorf

Please clarify how this is related to Zaps, thanks.

OK...
MyCoolSite.com
People are joining up and using with my brand.

Example:
HappyGilmore.MyCoolSite.com

In the sign up process I have several forms. By the time they get to the end of the forms and hit the GO button their site is finished. The sites are completely populated with everything from links, personal and business information and images.

So…  The only obstacle still standing is the subdomain creation.
Adding the records and hence creating the subdomain.
I would imagine there has to be a way to do this.

Thank you

Hi @GusDorf , looks like you were in contact with our friends over in Support, and they were also able to give you some advice that I’ll paste here:

While Zapier editor does not support creating subdomains, we support an app called DNSFilter which can be used to create an organization and a site. You can view all the triggers and actions supported for DNSFilter on our apps page: https://zapier.com/apps/dnsfilter/integrations

This may not be the whole answer you’re looking for right now, but I hope it at least helps get you started! Let me know if there is anything else we can support you with, and we’re always here to help.

Best,

Rachael

Thanks for that.
But does that even come close to adding subdomains?

No - That is a completely different animal.
Thank you for your time.
