Just came across this and spotted you also reached out to the Support team about this. I can see they added your vote to a feature request to allow the New Task trigger to run for tasks added to any project. While we can’t guarantee if or when it will be added, we’ll be sure to notify you via email if it becomes available.
In the meantime, did you have any success with Troy’s suggestion of using a Catch Hook trigger for the Zap instead?
