  • How to use Filter by Zapier to distinguish between ClickUp task and subtask when action is being triggered

Hi! We have a trigger set up to where when a task in created in a certain folder, a project in Harvest is created as well. But now every subtask added to any task in that folder is also being created in Harvest which we do not want. I’ve tried playing around with the Filter by Zapier to filter the subtasks out but I can’t figure it out. Help!!

Good question.

Try filtering on the Parent field within a Task.

Null likely means Task, vs if there is a value, then that likely means Subtask.
