How can I get ChatGPT to summarize an automated report from Semrush and create a draft email?

 

I have set up automated reports in Semrush, that I receive monthly (as a PDF) in a specific inbox on Outlook. I want to get them summarized in ChatGPT, with improvements/declines and other important data. 

What I have done so far:

  1. Microsoft Outlook - New email 
  2. Filter by Zapier - From Email Adress Adress
  3. OpenAI - Send Prompt
  4. Microsoft Outlook - Create Draft Email

But once I get the drafted email, it seems like ChatGPT can’t summarize the PDF and starts making up data. The model I’m using is “gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct”. I would like to use a different model, but “gpt-4o” ain’t working.

For us to have more info, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field types and field mappings.

I’m jumping in to see if I can help!

The “Send Prompt” action in OpenAI doesn’t allow you to upload a file to analyze. You’d need to use the ChatGPT app and the “Conversation With Assistant” action summarize the uploaded file.
