I’m having trouble getting chatgpt read the content of a google doc and I feel like I’m doing something obvious wrong. Sorry I am a noob

Before we dig deeper into this, have you tried using the “Conversation with Assistant” action? The “Conversation with Assistant” action has a “File” field that you can use to upload the Google Doc file.

I figured it out with webhooks! thanks

If you’re open to sharing, we’d love to know more about how you set up that Webhooks action. Your solution could be really helpful for others running into the same issue. If you’re able to, a screenshot of the webhook’s setup would be awesome to see! Just be sure to blur or remove all personal information (names, emails, API keys etc.) from screenshots before sharing—you can use a tool like Zappy for that.
