Hi @Thaiboran

Most Zap app integrations are created and managed by the app developer using the Zapier Developer Platform.

Try reaching out to Booksy Support for guidance.

If Booksy has an API/webhooks, then check out these resources:

What do you want to be able to do with your integration between Booksy and Zapier?

I use a different booking plugin, which does have “paid” integration with Zapier. However, I stopped using the Zapier Intergration from the Booking app (for a number of reasons). Now I use a simple alternative method (not my own API programming).

This will work with Booksy (or any booking app) under two conditions:

  1. You only need to read data i.e. get booking informaiton out
  2. Booksy can send custom notifications

If this interests you then I can add details if you can reply with wthe range of task you want to do with the Booksy integration.

I hope this is helpful :)

Thanks for your response, the problem I have is that I was using whatsapp and booksy, I now only use the whatsapp chat plugin on the website because otherwise I get double bookings because whatsapp implement in booksy doesn't work that's why I asked chatgpt how and what and I also emailed booksy what I can do about it that if a customer makes a booking with whatsapp that also shows on the calendar of booksy, but I haven't had a reply from booksy yet, so that's my problem, but if you have another solution I'd like to keep me informed.

@Thaiboran

From your response it sounds like you want your customers to be able to book an apointment with you.

A customer can book through whatsapp or a customer can book through Booksy.

The problem you have is that the two calendars don’t talk to to each other, i.e whatsapp has a calendar and booksy has a calendar and you can’t get whats app to make a booking on the Booksy Calendar.

Hopefully I have understood you correctly - if So, the following should work. If not, please provide more detailed info.

It appears both Whatsapp and Booksy will both sync with Google Calendar which should be a very quick setup for you. (not suree if Booksy has thos free or charges for the privlage)

  1. Setup a Google Calendar that will be your appointment Calendar.
  1. Go through the steps to sync Booksy with Google calendar, you will want a two-way synchornisation. This means that Calendy will write  acopy of all its bookings to the Google calendar. And the google calendar will write all of its bookings into the Booksy calendar
  2. Go through the steps to synchronise whatsapp with the same Google Calendar, you will want a two-way sync here also. Or at least two-way frontend sync, which means whatsapp appointments will be block if the time isin’t available on you Google Calendar.

That’s the setup.

With this you can choose to use either you Booksy or your Google Calendar to view your appointments/Schedule.

You can easily scynchronise other booking methods in the future.

You can also enter appointments directly into Google Calendar if it is easier than Booksy.

You can even block your time and hours in the Google Calendar if it is easier.

Booksy can send confirmations to user who book with Booksy.

Whatsapp can seen confirmations to customers who book with Whatsapp

Or can turn off their notifications, and have new appointments trigger events in Zapier to send emails and whatsapp messages etc.

To sumarize, either app, or yourself personally can create an appointment in the Google Calendar if the required time slot is available in the Google Calendar. Once the appointment is booked, it blocks that time out for the other connected apps. Because of the two-way scynchornisation with Booksy you can operate either from your Booksy Calendar or your Google Calendar or both.

I hope this is helpful :) happy to help more if I misunderstood have further questions

@Thaiboran

I had a closer look at Booksy - it doesn’t have any way to sync with Google Calendar (the above approach will work with many other calendar apps though)

To get appointments into your Google Calendar, you can set up a zap trigger (New email arrives) to retrieve the appointment confirmation email form yor email and then make the booking in your Google Calendar. Sending the appointment notification directly to Zapier Email Parser is even mor powerful and tidy.

https://zapier.com/features/parser

This will give you one-way scynchronisation.

You would still need to manually transfer any whatsapp booking sot Calendly, which might be ok if it is one a day, if it is more than that then it will be a pain.

It look like Booksy want to be their own insulated app and own everything. Hopefully their team can help you further. In this case it will be up to their development to provide integations to other apps like Whatsapp or Google Calendar.

Depending on your attachemnt to Booksy (and other benefits it gives you), you could consider other booking apps or website booking plugins. One key feature being Two-way (or Two-way frontend) Google Calendar Scynchronisation. Once you have this and custom notifications from a booking app/plugin you can do almost anything!

Wish there was better news,

Post here if you find any additional information on Booksy working with Google Calendar
