I’m working with a client who would like take the files uploaded to Survey Monkey and upload into his Google Drive. I’ve worked out the steps to collect the responses, and the URLs through to finding the folder and then uploading the file. The issue is I have a download link, not a file. I am struggling with the intermediate steps to make the actual file available to the ‘upload the file’ step. I’ve been researching this for a couple days and there doesn’t seem to be any clear details specific to Survey Monkey. I can’t be the first person trying to accomplish this goal so I’m wondering if anyone else has run into this and has come up with the solution. I’m trying to avoid using another solution like make.com if I can avoid it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The link to the file needs to be a publicly accessible direct download link.
For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

Ah, ok. To be clear, there is no supported method for downloading a file, even if you’re passing authorization in the header? Or in basic auth?
I cannot share that additional detail as it contains customer information and if what you say is true, the mapped details would not be helpful even if I blurred the customer details.
Bummer. I will look at alternatives for that portion.
