I want to reupload videos on my fb page automatically when I enter video urls in my google sheets.

1st: I made a new row trigger in google sheets. This is where I will upload video urls.
2nd: I want to reupload those videos on my fb page. Can anybody tell me how should I do it? This is my 1st time with automation tools and I need some ideas. Thanks

Hi @Bhone Chaint Hein,

Welcome to the Community.

To automate video uploads to your Facebook page using Zapier and Google Sheets, set up a Google Sheets trigger for new rows containing video URLs. Then, create a Facebook Pages action to "Create Page Video," connect your Facebook account, and map the video URL from Google Sheets. Ensure the URLs are direct video links, test your Zap, and activate it to automate postings.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or need further assistance setting this up, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi I have tried that already and it doesn’t work. Since the data are not videos but URLs, my page cannot create a new video out of it. I first need to download the video first and maybe upload them on my page directly or put another step with google drive to store them.

The real problem is there is no way to download the videos online. I see so many websites that can download videos from any sources easily but that kind of function isn’t available on Zapier. I also tried using coding but since there is no way for me to create environments or install libraries, that option doesn’t work as well.

Maybe Zapier should add another apps and websites that can download the videos or improve the coding option to another level.

Hi @Bhone Chaint Hein,

You may use third-party tools to download videos before uploading as a temporary workaround, but it's best to contact our Zapier support for a better resolution to the issue at hand.
