How to trigger Zap when SMS message is sent and send autoresponder message?

I am relatively new to this and trying something new. I created a QR code that will automatically send a text message. It does not matter what platform it sends it to. I want to create an autoresponder to that will send information to that same number that sent the text.

I am open to any apps. Looking for most affordable to start. I am playing around with SimpleTexting right now. But i cannot figure out the automation.

@Falcon2017, did you ever find a solution to triggering an SMS after QR code is used?

 

If not, I highly suggest checking out MessageDesk - they recently launched a new trigger/action combo for keyword responses over text message.

 

With this, you could use your QR code workflow and then take specific actions based on how the contact replies (assuming you may use multiple keywords?)

otherwise, MessageDesk should be able to handle most of the automation regarding the sms reply without needing much help from Zapier.
