Is Zapier able to carry over an Invoice PDF from QuickBooks to a Salesforce record?

Hi @ktAdam,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zapier community!

Zapier does not currently support the direct transfer of a PDF file from QuickBooks to Salesforce. However, there is a workaround. You could use Zapier to trigger a new invoice in QuickBooks and then use an action to get the shareable link for the invoice PDF from QuickBooks. Once you have that link, you can use another action to create or update a record in Salesforce and include the shareable link in a relevant field.

This way, while the PDF isn't directly attached to the Salesforce record, you can still access it via the link.

Here's a general idea of how the Zap could look:

  1. Trigger: New Invoice in QuickBooks
  2. Action: Get a Shareable Link for Invoice PDF in QuickBooks
  3. Action: Create/Update Record in Salesforce (include the shareable link in a field)

Please note that this is a general idea, and the actual implementation may vary depending on your specific setup.

Hey there, @ktAdam👋

How did you get on with Jammer’s suggestion—did it do the trick?
