Greetings, I have set up a basic Zap for sharing Ghost CMS posts on Facebook and Twitter via the Buffer, but the automation didn’t work. Has anyone done it in the past?

Thanks

Hi @mpatsia,

Welcome to the Community.

If your Ghost to Buffer Zap isn't working, first check that your Ghost trigger is correctly set to "New Post" and pulling data. Ensure the Buffer action is mapped correctly and that your accounts and posting schedule are set up correctly. Verify Ghost API permissions, then test the Zap to confirm it adds posts to your Buffer queue.

If you're still having trouble after following these steps, please provide more details about the issue you're experiencing. Are you receiving any error messages? At what step does the Zap fail? Any additional information you can provide will help us assist you better.

Hi @JammerS, i have set a “When a post is published in Ghost” trigger. and an action in the buffer

Hi @mpatsia,

Are you getting any error messages when finishing the Zap? Let us know so we can help you further. Thank you.

No, the post is published but is not a post actually is just the image without link or any text.

Hi @mpatsia,

If your Buffer post publishes only an image without text or a link, check these points: Ensure Ghost sends the post title, content, and URL in the Zap trigger. Verify that your Buffer action includes the correct text and image fields. Remember that Buffer may only allow one media type per post, so adding the URL in the text field might help. Finally, a test with a sample post is performed to confirm that the data is passing correctly.

If the issue persists, let us know what data Zapier is receiving from Ghost in the trigger step. Happy to troubleshoot further.
