How to set up weekly batch emails for new Flodesk subscribers in Zapier

Do I have the option to create a new triggered event?

Not for a Zap app integration.

Sounds like you are trying to do this type of automation:

1. Trigger: Schedule
   1. Run Weekly at set day/time
   2. Help: https://zapier.com/apps/schedule/integrations#help 
2. Action: Webhooks/Code
   1. Use Flodesk API to get data
   2. https://developers.flodesk.com/
3. Action: GDrive - Copy File
   1. Use a File as a template with headers
4. Action: GSheets - Create Rows
   1. Handles arrays of line items
5. Action: Gmail - Send Email
   1. Include link to the GSheet

NOTE: Additional steps may be needed

Yeah it’s possible. I would recommend using Zapier Tables with Schedule. Also it’s not possible to create your own custom triggers. Your workflows will look something like this-

First Zap

• New Subscriber trigger
• Create Record action with Date( You can use {{zap_meta_human_now}}  for date)

Second Zap

• Schedule every week
• Find Records( From last week)
• Send Email action

This is a sample workflow and you may need extra actions like Filter, Formatter etc as workflows are usually personalized to user’s needs. Hope it helps!
