There is no trigger actions for Task Due date.

Since there could be 0+ Tasks due for a given that would required advanced logic to potentially find all the GTasks with a due date = Today.

As an alternative, you can add items to a GCal as a free event, which has settings for notifications.

If you used Airtable instead, then you can easily configure an automation to get a digest email each day.

I was just exploring this workflow myself and it looks like you could use Delay by Zapier to get the result you’re looking for. The way I’d go about this is setting up a trigger on a new task, delaying by the due date/time, and then sending an e-mail when the time is hit.

I like Troy’s approach though of adding tasks straight to your calendar, which would in fact provide you notifications and keep everything far more organized.

Keep in mind there is a 31 day limit for using the Delay step in a Zap.

I Need to Delay a Step Longer Than 1 Month

You can delay an action for up to 31 days. Combining Delay steps to increase that maximum may error and isn’t recommended. Use Google Calendar’s Event Start trigger to ecreate delays for longer than 31 days]((https://zapier.com/help/doc/google-calendar-tips-tricks).

I went with the simple, albeit lazy option by adding my tasks as events on gcal. I personally use TIck Tick and Notion professionally (the joys for repeating tasks with this one!  ). Waiting for the day I get setup with other amazing apps like asana or monday like you mentioned Troy.
