I’m struggling to send a .pdf from my gmail to openAI/ChatPT for analysis. 

 

Essentially I have a .pdf which I want to extract some data from, with a specific prompt. How do I send the attachment to OpenAI/Chatgpt?

 

Tried the ‘analyze image content with vision’ - does not support PDF
Tried the ‘conversation’ action event with the /attachment in the user message (but this creates an AWS link which openAI can't browse to).

I wish to have it as an attachment just like the chatGPT web front end attachment.

Steps

  1. Trigger: Gmail - New Attachment
  2. Action: ChatGPT - Upload File
  3. Action: ChatGPT - Conversation with Assistant
    1. Fields
      1. New Files
      2. Existing Files
        1. Map the ID from the previous Zap step
