I would like to create a zap action that logs into a google doc ALL the threaded messages from slack after I add an emoji (not JUST the message that receives the emoji and the link BUT all the text of the messages of the thread)

So far, and with the help of AI I can only log into the doc the message with the emoji and the link to the thread. Is that possible?

I suggest you to use a webhooks step to call slack’s conversations.replies API. That way all thread messages get logged not just the main one..

Use Retrieve Thread Messages action to get all the messages in a particular thread.

Pass the thread id from the trigger. After that you can use Google Docs action to log all those message. You might also need Looping in Zapier. Here is helpful article about Looping in Zapier- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496106701453-Loop-your-Zap-actions. Hope it helps!
