Question

How to integrate Metricool with Google Calendar?

I'm trying to connect Metricool with my Google Calendar so that whenever I schedule a new post on Metricool, it automatically creates an event in Google Calendar. However, when I try to sync them, it asks for a lot of details that I don't know how to fill in.

For example, if it asks for a start and end date, does that mean I have to enter the specific date for each post I schedule? If so, that doesn’t seem practical—it would be easier to create the event manually in Google Calendar.

On the other hand, if I set a start date of January 1st and an end date of December 31st, it would look like I have posts scheduled every day of the year, which isn't accurate.

I just don’t understand how to properly fill in all the required fields for Google Calendar, and I can't find any tutorial specifically about integrating these two platforms.

Hi @Polish Your Business

All required fields for a Zap step need to have a valid value.

Help links for using GCal in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/google-calendar/integrations#help

Each GCal Event (like any calendar event) needs these fields:

  • Start Date & Time
  • End Date & Time
