Hi, is it possible to create an invoice that will automatically charge them after 4 days? I'm using Zapier, and every time I set my Stripe process to automatically charge them with a due date of 4 days, it gives me an error. According to Stripe, it's possible to do this with a manual invoice, but they are not sure if Zapier can handle it. Thanks!

Hi @srhjtrjn

For us to have more info about the error, post these screenshots:

Hi @Troy Tessalone ,

I’m receiving error of “You can only specify 'due_date' or 'days_until_due' if invoice collection method is 'send_invoice'.”

I already asked stripe support, and they said that its possible to do it within stripe manually but they dont know zapier has a feature of the same.

Here’s stripe support email :

Hi there, I appreciate you for writing back. No worries as I am here to continue assisting you. From the page you shared, please note that if you set the collection method to "charge_automatically", you must remove "due_date" and "days_until_due". These parameters are not compatible with "charge_automatically". If you need to automatically charge in the future, you can schedule the invoice creation in Zapier to your desired collection date, or reach out to Zapier for the possibility of using "automatically_finalizes_at".

I know it can be confusing to navigate between different support teams, and I want to assure you that we're here to guide you in the right direction. To get the most efficient help for your specific situation, please contact Zapier's support team to implement "charge_automatically" with "automatically_finalizes_at." If this is not possible, you can simply "schedule" the invoice creation by Zapier, and they would be most knowledgeable on how to do this.

If, after speaking with Zapier, they determine that our involvement is necessary, we kindly request that they reach out to us directly on your behalf, quoting the ticket number 17263928. This approach ensures we can collaborate effectively to resolve your issue if needed.

@srhjtrjn

The error as explained in the feedback from Support is related to these fields. (screenshot)

If you are trying to implement logic not natively available via the Stripe Zap action step being used/configured, then that may involve an advanced approach of using the Stripe API in a Zap step.

Stripe API: https://docs.stripe.com/api

Zap action: Stripe - API Request

Yes, but how can I configure it to auto-charge after 5 days? Does Zapier have the features "charge_automatically" and "automatically_finalizes_at"? If not, does that mean it’s not possible to implement? Thanks.
