Goal: update Airtable when activity occurs in Trello
Issue: As far as I’m aware, the User field in Airtable needs to be an email address rather than the users full name (as appears in Airtable). However, Trello doesn’t seem to allow linking to the email of card members, but rather gives options like Full Name or Username. I can’t work out how to pull the Trello member’s email into Airtable so I can add it to the assignee field.
I considered changing the Trello usernames to be their email, but as usernames are public I didn’t want to do that. The only workaround I can think of, is to change the User field in Airtable to a linked record (as we already have records which are essentially users), but that means losing the functionality to ‘Notify users with base access when they’re added’ - which is the main reason for the User field.
Any help would be much appreciated!
