It looks like there’s an Email ID field available on Create Draft Reply actions. What have you got selected for that currently?
If you map the ID field from the trigger, I’d expect that should ensure the reply is added to the conversation of the original email.

Do you have the ID mapped from the trigger, or have you selected a different field or value there?

thanks a lot, this worked perfectly, I by mistake made a draft email not a draft email response so the id option was not available. Works great,
