I have a text file with a number of transactions, i have used zapier files to read it and the looping to seperate each row into a transaction to upload to hubspot. this is taking a zap per row. Any ideas how to make this more efficient.

regards

Hi @James roberts

More advanced approaches involve using the app APIs via these apps:

Hey @James roberts,

Just for your information that the looping action specially doesn’t count as a Zap run. The possibilities to make it more efficient is to use the Code step in Zapier which gets more technical but I personally feel just reducing the Zap steps should not be the only reason to use Code in Zapier especially if you are not able to maintain it yourself as you are taking away a bit of user friendliness of Zapier.

I usually implement code/api requests if something is not possible through usual triggers/ action. If things break in the code, then you might not able to debug it yourself. There is caveat here if you have the technical knowledge already or resources to get help then feel free to implement it.
