How to drop Gmail emails directly into CompanyCam for for job related documentation

Hi all

Hopefully this question makes sense. I am attempting to directly import email related to jobs I am working on in CompanyCam. The emails are insurance related so will have (most of the time) “Claim #” . How do I do this ?

Hi @jundam22, welcome to the Zapier Community👋

To confirm, the emails you’re looking to import will have “Claim #” within the subject or the body of the email, is that right?

One approach would be to add a Filter by Zapier after your trigger to only allow Zap runs to continue if  “Claim #” exists in either the subject or the body. Here's a great resource that should point you in the right direction:

https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496276332557-Add-conditions-to-Zaps-with-filters

The Zap itself could look something like:

  • New Email in Gmail trigger;
  • Filter by Zapier;
  • Add Project or Update Project Notepad (depending on your specific workflow) in CompanyCam.

Hope this helps 😊
