Is this possible (if so, how?) - 

I’d like to create a zap that automatically pulls posts from several IG accounts I follow (IG 4 business) and re-posts them in a private Circle community space.

doable?  How upset would META get?

Yes, it’s definitely possible — as long as you have access to all four Instagram Business accounts. You’ll just need to create a separate Zap for each one.

Here’s an example of what that setup would look like:

  • Trigger: Instagram for Business – New Media Posted in My Account

  • Action: Circle – Your preferred action

As for limitations, I'm not entirely certain if the New Media Posted in My Account trigger has specific restrictions when it comes to pulling posts. However, based on our internal notes, Instagram accounts are limited to 25 API-published posts within a 24-hour rolling period, as outlined in Meta’s documentation:

Thank you for your response. I don’t own the accounts I want to pull from, rather it’s accounts I follow, so unless I misunderstand (which is likely) your solution isn’t what I was looking for?

Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, due to Instagram's API limitations and privacy rules, Zapier can't pull posts from accounts you don't own or manage. You must do so manually if you want to share posts from accounts you follow with your Circle community. Just be sure to credit the source and respect copyright.
