Hello,

In our system we have own calendar in which we can create calendar events. We would like to create meetings in MS Teams from our system using Zapier. We can detect created events in our calendar and then we could send request to zapier webhook .

Do you know hot set up zap so we can creating meetings in MS Team app?

Hi @RECRU Developers

Microsoft Teams Zap app available triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/microsoft-teams/integrations#triggers-and-actions

You’d have to explore using the Microsoft Teams API: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/event?view=graph-rest-1.0

Hi there @RECRU Developers,

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to create or schedule a meeting in the Microsoft Teams integration at the moment. However, we have an existing feature request for this exact functionality. I have added you to the feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

In the meantime, you can stay in the loop/follow along with updates on the main thread here:

Hopefully, this helps!

For anyone that comes across this and wants to be added please reach out on the main topic for this issue here and we’ll get you added to the feature request.

Is there any update on whether this is going to be added to Zapier? I have seen comments closed on several other discussions about this. Seems like a no brainer for Zapier to add as Teams is one of the bedrocks of online meetings.

Any update at all would be appreciated.

Hi @Reaper,

Unfortunately, there is no update regarding this feature request at the moment. However, I have added you to the open feature request. We will keep you updated once the feature has been implemented.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.
