How to copy matching data from Zap Table to Monday

I'm having some difficulty creating a workflow for this and was hoping someone could share the steps.

I have a dataset imported into a Zapier table. It contains columns such as Case Number, Name, Phone 1, Phone 2, and Phone 3, with row data filled in.

I also use Monday.com CRM, where I have a group of items that includes a Case Number column, among others.

What I want to achieve is the following:

  • Match the Case Number from each row in the Zapier table with the Case Number in Monday.com.

  • When a match is found, Zapier should copy the matching data (e.g., Name, Phone 1, Phone 2, Phone 3) and create a new subitem under the corresponding item in Monday.com.

Any guidance or steps on how to set up this workflow in Zapier would be appreciated!

Hi @Data

Try these Zap actions:

  • Monday - Get Items by Column Value
  • Monday - Update Item
    • Map the Item ID

Hi there @Data 👋

How did you get on with those Monday.com actions Troy suggested—did they do the trick?
