Hi! Is there anyway I could collect the GA4 Client ID from Stripe in the Stripe to GA4 Integration? I’ve tried researching and I haven’t found a single solution for this. Anyone know how?

Hi @BSC

For us to have more info, outline a specific example for us to help us understand what you mean by the “Client ID” value.

Screenshots are helpful for context.

Hi there, @BSC. Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Just came across this and looked into the fields that are output by some of the Stripe triggers for you. I’m not seeing any field that’s specifically named cid, Client ID or anything of that sort.

Do you have access to add a hidden custom field on the checkout that stores the cid value? Thinking that may then give the Zap access to the Client ID and allow it to be passed over to the Google Analytics 4 app.

If not, Stripe’s documentation appears to suggest that you could potentially add some code to your website which would help link the payment events to the right client ID in Google Analytics: Stripe Docs > Linking client and server-side events.

Hope that helps. Keep us posted on how you get on, want to ensure you’re all set! 🙂
