Hi @augustya,
Welcome to the Community.
Zapier doesn't provide a tool for gathering publicly available information from digital and social media platforms, but you can explore various solutions. Third-party tools like Mention that can track mentions and aggregate insights. Zapier can integrate these tools with CRMs or databases for automated data analysis. If you're comfortable with coding, you can use Zapier's Webhooks to connect to social media APIs, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. AI-driven sentiment analysis tools can enhance data insights, and consulting a developer may help create a tailored solution if needed.
I hope these suggestions help you get started on building the solution you're looking for. If you have any further questions or need assistance with specific integrations, feel free to ask.

Hi @JammerS,
Thank you for your insights, so I got registered on Zapier, just yesterday and I was trying to play around with the creating an agents and one of the agents that I built, though it was not very full proof, It tried to do at some extent to what I was looking out for, so I built an agent, which said that fetch all the post made by a person with that name from Linkedin. I faced a couple of issues while doing this, in spite of adding as a connection of LinkedIn in the agent. Every time I tried to run the agent, it said that it needs to be logged into LinkedIn with a user id and password to be able to visit a particular persons profile and to find out all his posts that he is mentioned there, But even after having made a connection in the agent, it did not work. Don't you think this problem should have been overcome.
Secondly, I also want the same way to add another tools like Facebook, Instagram, and I could not find a way to do that to add another tool in the agent. When I try to add a tool from the options given, I do not see an option for Facebook and Instagram. Don't you think this kind of works, though not 100% but it does the job to some extent, just one more thing that I want to add to this agent is also search Google and find out any blogs or pose that he's mentioned. Do you think this is possible?
Hi @augustya,
Zapier offers limited integration with social media platforms due to API restrictions and privacy policies. LinkedIn doesn't allow access to individual user posts or profiles via its public API. Facebook and Instagram limit access to personal data, only supporting actions like posting to business accounts. Google search automation isn't directly supported, but third-party scraping tools may help—though they must be used legally and ethically. Consider specialized tools for more advanced monitoring or tracking, and always ensure compliance with platform terms and privacy rules to avoid issues.
Feel free to ask if you have any further questions or need assistance with setting up specific workflows within Zapier's capabilities. We're here to help you make the most of the available integrations while respecting platform policies.
Hi @augustya,
Consider specialized tools for more advanced monitoring or tracking,
Can you please name a few if you have some on the top of your mind?
Hi there, @augustya
Hope you don’t mind me jumping in here. I don’t know which specialized tools Jammer had in mind, but perhaps you could try using the Google search and/or Live browser default Agent tools to find the person’s LinkedIn profile. Those tools don’t depend on external apps so the Agent shouldn’t tell you that you need a LinkedIn user id and password to search for the profile etc.
You can learn more about how to use those features here: Use the agent's default tools
Hope that helps to point you in the right direction. Keep us posted on how you get on, want to make sure you’re all set!
