How to automate updates for ClickUp subtasks with specific tags

Hello,

I have ClickUp list that has different tasks and subtasks. In the subtasks, there are ones with a specific tag on it. I want that when a subtask that has that tag is Updated( what I am updating here is a custom field with a link), it automatically updates other sub tasks that has the same tag with the same link.

I have tried doing the automation in Zapier but Zapier is not bringing out the output of the subtasks.

How can I do this?

Thank you for your help.

Hi @Stella Ijeoma,

Welcome to the Community.

To update subtasks in ClickUp based on changes to other subtasks with the same tag, create a Zap that triggers on subtask updates. Add a filter to ensure the Zap runs only for subtasks with the specific tag. Use the "Find" task action to locate other subtasks with the same tag, and update them using the "Update" task action, mapping relevant fields. If needed, leverage ClickUp's API for precise searches. Finally, test the Zap to confirm the updates correctly and troubleshoot any integration issues.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
