How to automate translation of LONG text with ChatGPT and DeepL?

Hello,

Here is my use case for AUTOMATING TRANSLATION OF LONG DOCUMENTS.


I have a 100-page long text in a Word document. I can import it in GoogleDoc if need be. I need to translate it from English to French.

As of today, here is my manual process:

  1. I copy about 2,000 words from the Word document to paste it into ChatGPT or in DeepL.

  2. I ask ChatGPT or Deepl to translate it.

  3. I copy the translation and paste it back to another Word document.

How can I automate this - ideally for free - with AI and No Code?

The solution likely won’t be free.

 

If your Zap is 3+ steps, then that requires a Zapier paid plan.

Hi there @Niko - I’m also wondering if you may want to check out Translate by Zapier, I’m not positive if there is a page/word limit but could be an interesting read: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496061968525-How-to-Get-Started-with-Translate-by-Zapier#translation-options-0-0

 

As Troy mentioned, ChatGPT does require a Paid Plan, as does multistep Zaps, but if you find a creative solution please do let us know!
