Anyone know how I can use zapier to auto approve draft invoices in Xero? I have tried the instructions but can’t get it to work.

The Update Sales Invoice Xero action has a Status field that will allow you to set the invoice to be Approved:
Can you give that action a try and let us know how if that does the trick?

Thankyou. that worked! however have a slight issue maybe you can help
i want it to automatically update any invoice created in awaiting apporval status to approved. i set this up and it worked once but now not working. the update sales invoice action requires invoice ID so i think it is because of this. doesn't seem to be away to not specify an invoice ID . how do i do this?

YAY! Glad to hear that worked
What’s the trigger for the Zap, is it the New Sales Invoice Xero trigger?
If so, that should provide the ID for the invoice. Then, in the Update Sales Invoice action, if you select the Custom value option for the Invoice Id field that should allow you to select the InvoiceID field from the trigger.
Keep me posted on how it goes!
